Valerie P. Connors
DIRECTOR OF CRUISE WEDDINGS
With a strong background in Human Resources and flair for process and procedure, Valerie manages the Cruise Ship Weddings Division of Joyous Events. She has had an active role in coordinating over 300 weddings in the Ports of Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA and Norfolk, VA since 2004 and also manages the staff operations in support of these events. Valerie is a very compassionate lady with a calming spirit.
She is a graduate of the Wedding Coordination Program at Community College of Baltimore County, the American Musical & Dramatic Academy and studied Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina A&T University, Greensboro, NC. She also oversees staffing and vendor relationships.
Fun Fact: In 2017, Valerie was a contestant on Jeopardy! We are so proud of our in-house world-of-knowledge Queen!
